Soviet 3. Naval Inf brigade (Svir operations)
Soviet 3. Naval Inf brigade (Svir operations)
It seems a unit called Soviet 3. Marine Brigade or 3. Naval Inf brigade (not sure which is correct) operated on the east coast of Ladoga summer 1944. Part of the Svir operations. Can someone help me find inforamtion on this unit? Organisation, Equipment and so on. Was it elite or green? Any information is appreciated.

Thanks! This led to other discoveries on Russian pages. I have the OOB now. It also seems as its basically just an infantry unit.

As of 20 June 1944:
5069 men (439 officers, 1230 NCOs, 3410 privates), 595 horses, 2607 rifles, 1588 submachine guns, 155 light machine guns, 72 medium machine guns, 3 anti-aircraft machine guns, 11 120-mm, 47 82-mm, 36 50-mm mortars, 4 122-mm howitzers, 16 76-mm guns, 4 76-mm regimental guns, 20 45-mm AT guns, 155 anti-tank rifles, 65 automobiles.
The brigade had quite an unique organization with 4 rifle battalions, sub-machine gun, machine gun, artillery, mortar and anti-tank battalions plus smaller support units.
