Units Assigned to the Soviet 139th Rifle Division, December 1939

Greetings to all!

I am trying to put together a complete order of battle for the Soviet 139th Rifle Division in December of 1939.

So far, I have the following:

364 Rifle Regiment
609 Rifle Regiment
718 Rifle Regiment
354 Light Artillery Regiment
237 Anti-Tank Battalion
162 Reconnaissance Battalion
195 Engineer Battalion

What I am missing is the numbers for the tank battalion and the howitzer battalion. Can anyone provide these?

From Sodan Taisteluja 1 / Yuri Kilin:

139.ID / Brig.Cdr Nikolai I. Belyayev @ Tolvajärvi
- 15362 men
- 90 guns, including all calibers and ATGs as well, I believe
- 20 tanks

These units are mentioned:
- 364.IR
- 609.IR
- 718.IR
- Tank Coy of 162. Separate Recon Bn
The number of guns listed here is consistent with the absence of a second field artillery regiment (howitzer regiment.)

36 field pieces (presumably 20 76.2mm field guns and 16 122mm howitzers) organized into 9 4-piece field batteries
18 45mm anti-tank guns in the anti-tank battalion
18 45mm anti-tank guns in the anti-tank companies of the 3 infantry regiments
18 76.2 mm infantry guns in the infantry companies of the 3 infantry regiments
___
90 artillery pieces of all types

The numbers, however, do not work so well for tanks.

At full strength, the divisional reconnaissance battalion would have had 16 T-38 amphibious tanks. Likewise, the tank company would have had somewhere between 11 and 16 tanks. Thus, we end up with somewhere between 27 and 32 tanks.
