The photograph was taken at Malmi (Helsinki) Airport on 29 June 1939 when Halder arrived to Finland. The person next to him is Lieutenant General Hugo Österman, Chief of Defence of the Finnish Defence Forces. There are more photographs of Halder's visit to Finland at www.finna.fi.
