Ben Strout is taking the freshly finished version to FinnFest and then there will be more editing... I will keep you posted.

I saw it the other day. Overall very good. It is more suited to the US than those in Finland but still very good.

The plan is for this to be shown in the USA. As I said this is a rather good work. I state it is more suited for the US market due to the fact that many in Finland know the history of the Winter War so this work might not be anything new to them. It is a good overveiw of the war and has some detailed stories that are shared. I liked it and found it interesting.

Since this topic had fallen behind i thought it would be good to bring it back to the first page. Anyone has news on this document, possible date for presenting it in finnish tv?

best regards, TK

Allright, after being in contact with Mr Strout i have forwarded the information cocerning this document and its release date and place to YLE (finnish broadcast company) with a introduction to the document itself and persons involved in the making of it.
My request to my fellow finnish members in this forum is that if any of you have any contacts inside YLE then it would be good if you could put a good word out concerning this document for possible show in finnish tv. maybe we get lucky?

best regards, TK

Hi there,

well, my contacts in YLE are quite limited, unfortunately :( The YLE guys from Tampere were at hand when we were shooting the major reenactments in Parola, but little more than that. I will forward news about the documentary to a journalist I know in the nearest future.

with best regards,

Bair

Thank you Bair, everything helps. Well, i got some good news from YLE. Atleast they followed my advice to contact Mr. Strout and they requested a copy from the document for check up. Hopefully we will have the document on the air soon.

best regards, TK

Thought so Bair  . Might have something to do with the negative idea of finns and knifes abroad, like in Sweden.

best regards, TK
