Malmedy Massacre

Does anyone know exactly how many Americans lived through this? I recently got to here the story of a GI who lived through it from the the soldier's daughter, and I was curious about how many actually survived.

Apparently, there was 84 POWS that were killed at the Bagneuz crossroads. Also, it is reported that 54 other POWS escaped this massacre, most of them were recaptured soon after but several of them made it back to Allied lines. The exact number , I am unsure of.
