Ah, so a simple browsing of some periodicals justifies the idiotic assertion that there is a Jewish view of history.

A Jewish book of history is called the Old Testament, Chuck. You know that. But a Zionist view of history can be easily seen by browsing Jewish periodicals; the Jews obsess about the Holocaust and it permeates all aspects of their society. Chuck seems to forget that the Holocaust is the founding-myth of modern Israel, a point that few deny, so Chuck's ignorance here is rather convenient. Terrorism is actually Genocide. The Mid-East conflict is a plot of Genocide. Genocide, Genocide everywhere. And I'm not necessarily talking about WWII or Israeli context here. "Genocide" motivates the trumpet sounding for the U.S. to go to war against Iraq, to intervene in the Balkans or Somalia, etc., etc. But only when convenient.

Ah, but Genocide has a definition that depends not upon lawyers but on whose ox is being gored, as I've said.

Since I've said nothing about the founding of Israel, it looks like more of Smith's ignorance we are witnessing.

Nor does the increasingly desperate Smith even attempt to show what this has to do with supporting his bigotted notion that Jews have a monolithic view of history. Guess he forgot that!
