Heinrich Neuschwanger was born 6 August 1909 in Schaffhausen/Switzerland (source: Registrar's entry at Werl Standesamt as communicated by Stadtarchiv Werl). He was shot (like all others executed at Werl) not at the prison proper but in the shooting range adjoining Neheimer Strasse in the south of Werl. Today, the spot seems to be a motocross range called "Werler Ring", a bit north of autobahn exit "Werl Sued".
