Re: Poland War Crime Trials
I read your post, but it was hard to read the handwritten trial-file of Franz Mücke, would be easier for history1
https://truthaboutcamps.eu/ftp/baza-ss- ... 6_1947.pdf
found nothing about Walter Malcherczyk (he must not have been a SS-guard in Auschwitz)

Re: Poland War Crime Trials
Which information do you have about
SS-Unterscharführer Hans or Johann Pichler (16.11.1901 in Bozen) sentenced to 4 years imprisonment 1948 in Krakow
When was his trial? When was he released? Do you know his date and place of death?

Re: Poland War Crime Trials
Hans vel Johann Pichler was extradited by the British authorities on 03.05.1947.
He was sentenced in Kraków on 09.12.1948 to 5 years and 6 months imprisonment (5,5 years).
According to my source he died on 18.08.1949 (possibly in prison).

Re: Poland War Crime Trials
In my sources SS-Rottenführer Paul Pistelok (12.12.1911 in Radostowice) sentenced to 1 year and 2 months imprisonment 06.06.1947 in Katowice was released 06.06.1947. Is this release date possible? Maybe with the imprisonment before the trial?
Which information do you have about
SS-Sturmmann Josef Merkl or Mergl (13.09.1908 in Semlin) sentenced to 4 years imprisonment 1948 in Krakow (released?)

Re: Poland War Crime Trials
SS-Rottenführer Berthold Ernst Riegenhagen (09.12.1912 in Krieschow) acquitted 17.02.1949 in Krakow (released 17.02.1949)
Or was the trial 08.04.1948 or 01.10.1948 https://truthaboutcamps.eu/th/form/r258 ... AGEN.html

Re: Poland War Crime Trials
He was acquitted on 08.04.1948 and released on 17.02.1949.
The second date as the date of trial (judgement) was a mistake in my source.
