Hi,

Researcher talks about Kurt Raddatz,
Steve talks about Karl Raddatz

Sure you are talking about the same person?

Good point Puck

I have 4 other Raddatz in my files so its not an uncommon name. this thesis by a Czech researcher names Kurt 31 times.

Kurt Raddatz was born on May 19, 1911 in Schneidemühl. From March 25, 1931 until August 1, 1940, he was a member of the SA and was also a member of the NSDAP. He was a member of it from 1 March 1933 and received party number 1,487,893. After leaving the SA, he joined the SS, which he joined on the same day he left the SA with the rank of SS-Untersturmführer with membership number 367,209.

Still don't think he was tried for his crimes.

Regards

That was my typo - not Karl but Kurt Raddatz & this is the rest of the information from the BStU file:
Born 19 May 1911, and “zweiten Weltkrieges war er Kriminalassistent in der Amtsstelle der Gestapo Opava [Troppau]. Im J.1946 hielt er sich mit der ganzen Familie in Rasberg-Zeitz in der jetzigen BRD auf...”.
Raddatz worked in Referat II A
Raddatz born 19 May 1911, Schneidemühl; NS No. 1487893, from 1 March 1933; SA from 28 March 1931; 1933, SA-Oschaf mit Dienstleistung Truppführer. Gave an SA-Führer-Fragebogen on 3 Oct 1933 describing his position that as Grenzland-Reiterstandarte.

This file, RHW 82/75, contains a Denkschrift from the CZ authorities dated 30 Sept 1975, about NS crimes in Opava.

What was the sentence of Friedrich Brüninghaus or Brüninghausen (1910 in Iserlohn?) Gestapo Brünn (sentenced in Czechoslovakia? released 1957?) What is the correct date and place of birth and death?

What was the date of trial of:
Willi Getschmann (12.09.1891 in Kaltenhausen) sentenced to 5 years imprisonment 1945 in Prag, member Schupo

What was the rank of
Julius Wilke (04.04.1908 in Gassen) sentenced to life imprisonment 27.01.1947 in Olmütz, Gestapo Olmütz

I am interested in more information about

Rudolf Hamm (07.01.1913 in ?) sentenced to 15 years imprisonment 1946 , SS-Oberscharführer, Gestapo/SD Zlin

Thanks a ton for this! I’ve been looking for information about him for months.

I googled around but couldn’t find the original document. Apologies if this is an obvious question, but how should I proceed to access the full report somewhere (at least the section about A. Kordik)?

Eve,
Not everything is on-line.
US NARA = US National Archives in College Park MD (Washington DC).
The rest of the source I quote is adequate for them to find the box which contains said interrogation report. I doubt Kordik get a larger entry - he wasn't important enough.

His trial report will be available in a Prague archive.
