Tjeerd van der Weiden:
Mayor condemned for the dead. The executie of T.O of of the meadow, NSB-mayor of Velsen in June 1947.

Sickle on 24 September 1946 its indictment finished in the matter against ex-burgemeester Tjeerd of of the meadow of Velsen. All newspapers do exhaustive report of the trial of NSB-burgemeester, which during the German bezetting in Kennemerland products schrikbewind exercised.
Tjeerd O. of of the meadow, born 27 October 1885 in Wonseradeel, no. closes himself in 1932, as a member. 988 at the NSB. The fanatical National Socialist of of the meadow makes rapidly career in sparrow ore movement. In 1940, he becomes ring LEADER in Utrecht and in 1941 district LEADER, for the province Utrecht.
In august 1942 lets insist itself of of the meadow on of Mussert as burgomaster of Velsen to appoint. At its installation the new citizen father speaks reconciling language. ‘ quietly and calmly I my pace will will slowly the people impart to the term what wants the National Socialism. Already fast however late of of the meadow however its truth sees face. Personally he leads the afbraak of large parts of Velsen and IJmuiden for the Atlantikwal. He ensures that after May 1943 only still but NSB-politie in its municipality are active.
