Thank you dylan.

Which other information do you have about Schossmann and Wolter?

Do you have information about Georg Eberl (? in München) 15 years imprisonment 04.12.1945 in Oslo ?

What was the sentence of SS-Haupscharführer Theofil Skaletz (1910 in Bobrech) KdS Stavanger? I know only that Skaletz was sentenced after the war in Norway.

What was the sentence of SS-Obersturmführer Georg Müller (24.07.1909 in Karlsburg, Siebenbürgen) KdS Tromsø sentence?

Which information do you have about Rudolf Alfred Illing?

Georg Eberl
29 Nov-4 Dec 1945 tried with others before a British Military Court in Oslo.
Convicted of complicity in the killing of one British and 6 Norwegian POWs captured on MTB 345.
July 1943 the victims were shot, according to the trial papers, at "Ulven Lager near Bergen"; but I think this is Polizeihäftlingslager Espeland.
He was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment as you say.

Dear all,

I accidentally found the name of my grandfather in this forum. I was not really aware of his time in Norway.

I would be very, very grateful, if you could provide me all the details, which you have or maybe you know an organisation in Norway, which could provide me further information. I highly appreciate your information on

Otto Emil Ernst Rackow (07.07.1913 in Braunschweig) ADSt Svolvær 8 years imprisonment 10.03.1949

Thank you in advance.

The only information I have on O E E Rackow is that he was at ADS Svolvaer (under KdS Narvik) in 1945 and a SS-Oberscharführer (sergeant).
Probably a Beamte and Kriminal Assistent with the Kripo or Gestapo. Unless he was SD.

@Delorean 1982,

there is some info on Rackow in the Norwegian book from Berit Nokleby "Gestapo - Tysk politi in Norge 1940-45". SS-Oberscharfuehrer and Kriminalassistent, so he got a police background. Rackow came to Norway in early 1943 and was assigned to KdS Tromso, as mentioned before in this . Was stationend in Grenzposten Kirkenes. Sentences to 8 years in one of the Norway trials. Released and extradited (to Germany?) in 1950.

I can send copies of the related pages, just send me a private message.

Hello Ansata,

In the book, there are some short bios, brief abstracts with background info and pictures taken when they got arrested on Wolter, Becker, Gamauf, Schosmann and Müller, not on Wiese (only listed). I can email you the relevant copies (10-12 pages in total, not really practical to copy /paste them into this blog here). Will send you a pm.

Thx
Axel

Here comes a list of additional names, all members of SD, SiPo or Gestapo, that were not yet captured in the shortlist at the beginning of this post. The list has been compiled from the book “Gestapo – Tysk politi I Norge 1940-45" from Berit Nokleby, a Norwegian historian, who sadly passed away, recently. Some 125 men (incl. several already captured in this blog) are covered in the appendix with a very short biography. I suppose it’s a selection of men, who were not immediately released in the first couple of months after the war was over, but got arrested and were captured / interrogated for potential war crimes by the Norwegian or British authorities for a while. Some of them were finally sentenced later on, others got released probably without a trial in 1947/48. Assume all the original files and info’s can be obtained in the relevant Norwegian archives.

Names already covered in this blog, where I added missing details (DoB, rank, etc.)
