The fact that the executed Polish POWs obviously were the victims of Stalinist repression, and notwithstanding that fact, the Military Prosecutor's Office denied the obvious. This point itself is obvious. Let's move on, and try to provide the readers with usable information about the topic.

That's the status that has been denied. Since that's what the story is about (and not what was falsely claimed in the headline), that's pretty much important, because without it there's no story, doncha think? Pretty obvious.

I do not think anything serious has yet been done to bring the former executioners to trial and I'd like to see some of their names, can anybody even name them (not Stalin and Beria), but the men who organised and carried out the KATYN massacre ??Pete

Note that the list was known for a long time, probably since 1990. Petrov did a great job attaching bios to most people on the list, so now we know who of them were mere drivers or typists, and who were the shooters.
