Hi,
Recently I have come across a quite recent movie called "Conspiracy", realised by Frank Pierson. This movie details a reunion organized around 1940 close to Berlin by the SS high command, called the "Wanssee conference, with a few governemental nazi representatives, as well as some jurists. According to that movie, during this reunion that lasted one afternoon, those people decided the details of the final solution, and what had to be done for "max efficiency". That was really a scary movie, and I want to know if that story is true. As my memory is really bad I dont remember the names of the people that were at that reunion, but can anyone give me more details regarding this event? Is the story true? Who were the people attending the meeting? What happened to them after the war? And no revisionism please.
Thanks,
Movie: Conspiracy

Sabbat.be -- The Wannsee Conference took place on 20 Jan 1942 in a Berlin suburb. It is well-known and well-documented, and there's a lot of material on the subject available on the internet. You might want to do a google.com advanced search on the topic to find out about the conference (there was another excellent German television dramatization about it, called "The Wannsee Conference"). I could give you a quick rundown on the conference, but you'll learn a lot more with a search. Just type in "Wannsee Conference."

Thanks David, I cant say I checked on the net before posting, as I was here and took the occasion that for once I was thinking about it to post my question
But thanks, I will check for more infos.
However, knowing that this thing really happened like that is scary to say the least. So few people could decide of the fate of so many.... That really makes me feeling better in my belief that you shouldnt give any sort of power to anyone over anyone else.
