I am very interested in the Sobibor Revolt.
I have tried to find out who the SS Guards were, who were killed.
so far I succeeded, but I don't know the christian names of Göttinger, or Steffl.
Also I believe only two Ukrainians were killed, Albert Kaiser & Josef Klat, am I wrong? Hope you can help.

Dear Schmauser
With Floss there were 11 SS-Men killed. But not a man with the name Göttinger.
The Christian name of Steffl is Thomas. The both ukrainians are in the book called Volksdeutsche and the names were Iwan Klatt and Klaus Schreiber.
After the book of Toivi Blatt these names were indicated in a telegramm which SS-Gruppenfürer Jakob Sporrenberg sent to his Boss SS-Obergruppenführer Friederich Krüger.
Best regards

Sobibor and Treblinka staff
I have 2 more names of SS men possibly killed in the Sobibor revolt, Erbert Helm and Ernst Berg. However I did not have Steffl, Konrad or Schreiber. Seems everyone has different 'facts'
Kurt Küttner was only wounded in the Treblinka revolt. He survived the war but died prior to a proposed trial in Germany.

Hi Researcher
My informations are from the book from the well known surrender Thomas "Toivi" Blatt. all these names are in the book from him. He has also a prouved it by a telegramm which SS-Gruppenführer Jakob Sporrenberg sent to SS-Obergruppenführer Krüger in Krakau. And a second prouve is the report of an Hauptmann Wullbrandt after the war.
After a long time it is really true still to know each details. But i think he was during not only in the camp, but he knew, did and saw very much.
I am also intrested to know where you have your informations.
Best regards
thomas

Sobibor Information
If I remember correctly my names came from the book 'Escape from Sobibor' by Richard Rashke. This book came out in 1995 and is partly based on the accounts of 18 survivors.
Kind Regards
