Maybe you are right but the spelling is in some sources different, especially in Russian sources. Do you have more details?

Translation of the names from Russian is difficult and you have done well.
I have no d.o.b. for Karl Sasse, just that he was sentenced to 25 years in Dec 1947 for crimes in Ostrow & Pskov.
Cannot find the source but will have another look in the Heer archives

What I find more surprising, is that when you compare these defendants with those at Nuremberg, they are wearing their ribbons and insignia of rank. Were the rules different at different trial sites?Keith
