Otto horn Treblinka

Post by Shambles51 » 18 Mar 2019 08:47

I have a question regarding Otto Horn. Most things I have read about him make reference to him appearing in Lanzemann's film Shoah. Does anyone know where in this film he does appear? The only part of the film which I can possibly place him, is where the elderly couple are filmed dancing in a Berlin dance hall. The man resembles descriptions of Horn and I know he did live in Berlin.
Any help would be appreciated,thanks

I have never seen any reference to Horn in Shoah, can you reference something? Of course Franz Suchomel is is secretly taped, and Josef Oberhauser is taped while at his barkeeper job.

All of the short summaries/biographies of Horn state he 'appeared' in Lanzemann's film Shoah, but likewise, I have not seen him featured as were Suchomel and Oberhauser. This is why I am wondering if the dance sequence is him 'appearing' in the film

I couldn't find any credible online source making the claim.

The dancing couple are Jewish Holocaust survivors. I came across an article about them about a year or so ago. Unfortunately, I can not find it to provide a link.
