Hi,

I want to know because one source claim that he was executed with a order by rommel because he didn't wanted to climb on a panzer and some other sources are claiming other variant of the event(like he was executed after three somation by Rommel )

I recall reading this in the David Irving book on Rommel decades ago. Both reasons, would not climb onto the tank after repeated summons

There are sources in French. Savare was chief of the 254e RAD (divisonal artillery regt)) of the1st DINA (North African Infantry Division) As he refused to surrender ha was shot and a lot of Moroccan soldiers too. Whan a troop is foing very quick, they don't take prisoners. D-day airborne soldiers did do that too
