It would have been, however, appropriate to mention the name of the mayor of Cernauti/Chernovotsy in 1941, mr. Traian Popovici, who is responsible for saving 20,000 Jews.

Btw, the article did not contain any info on the Jews thrown off the Carpathians.

Yes. It is a pretty one sided report. I'm sure there were many decent Romanians that tried to help them.
