I am excited to continue and share my WARSAW series of articles from the last year’s journey to Poland. This time I invite you to examine the well-known 85% of the devastated Warsaw city center to reveal history, a human tragedy beyond these figures. Apart from ‘Umschlagplatz’ and the well-known Cienna 55 wall ruins, this 6000-word article would lead you to five rare visited preserved buildings of the Warsaw ghetto. It took me a month of work to read and research up to 30 books on ‘Siege of Warsaw’, ‘Ghetto Uprising’ and ‘Warsaw uprising’ and put into together thought the prism of my own understanding.
