Were Jewish recipients of the Prussian Pour Le Merite murdered in the holocaust 1941-45 ?

I have occasionally seen photos of men wearing the Star of David on their coats in Germany following the law change, also wearing their WW1 decorations (EK1, EK2, Bavarian awards, etc)

The only PLM jewish soldier I know of was Wilhelm Frankel..who was KIA in World war I {aviation]
