LASt Jew in Town....and the consequences....

I read an account that in post war Europe..the only notice of Jews in a community is when a newspaper prints obituary headlined "LAst Jew In Town Dies" This is not fiction.. Auschwitz did have a Jewish Community...the last orginal emember a Shoah survivor returned..and died there an old man years ago...:sigh: even now when Jewish Communites in Europe African Arab States or Asia no longer exist..because the members have either died and or fled....there are those who will not go Up to Israel...it is a no win no winsituration...if they do not marry...this family line dies out....if there are any children...they have a choice of not marrying and again the family line dies out0 or if they marry non Jews...children of a son will not inherit the fathers religion if a daughter marries the children will inherit being Jewish...yet how can they grow into a Jewish life...if there are no other Jews??? In any evet the chances are leargly that any descendants will not be Jewish but will be culturally assimialted....
