Luca -- What an unpleasant sentiment on the part of the editors of Rudé Pravo, the Czech communist newspaper. It's of a piece with those signs one reads about which bore captions such as "No dogs or Irishmen (Chinamen, etc.)." The Rudé Pravo editors must not have been familiar with the Judaeo-Bolshevik conspiracy that some folks still believe in.
The article reminded me of the words of William Butler Yeat's quatrain "The Great Day":

The ''theory'' of Judeo-Bolshevism'' some believes in, and WHY this had changed at some point, was pretty well explained by me in a message to Demonio less than one week ago,a message you choosed to democratically erase (with no explanation by p.m.) because it went against your beliefs .... so now you plays the innocent who don't know where this comes from....i think it's completely unfair and not up to a man with your historical knowledge.

Some real jewish communist leaders (Klement Gottwald in Czechoslovakia, Anna Pauker in Rumania ) were phisically eliminated. At this time all the commie press in the world showed a great deal of antisemitism ,like the sample you are talking about.....
( i note that when the antisemitism comes from the nazis this is awful....when antisemitism comes from communists it's only an ''unpleasant'' sentiment..... it seems you have definitely two measures for explains things)
The Pravda refered to the jews as ''human monsters'' and so on....
In the USA,Eleanor Roosevelt,widow of the president,who had ,like her former husband, the eyes of Ximena for soviet communism,became antisoviet overnight and launched a campaign of support for the soviet jews....in the UssR,meanwhile,lots of jews were deported in Siberia.
The situation ended when the jewish elements of soviet communism regained power with Nikita Krushev (real name :Salomon Pearlmutter).
Stalin was assassinated in the Kremlin,camouflaged as a normal death,and judeo-communism carried on again. Untill the 80's when for another motives soviet communism and judaism divorced again,but that i explained it to Demonio and you erased ,so i guess i can't try to explain it here.....

By the way : Yeats was a member of the Irish Fascist Party (blue shirts) of O'Daffy
and he supported their propaganda to recruit the 600 volunteers of the
Bandera Irlandesa del Tercio (irish volunteers btl. of the Spanish Foreign Legion) who kicked the ass of the british communists of the Brigadas Internacionales during the battle of Jarama,Spain,1937..... These irish volunteers were supported by the aircrafts of the nazi Legion Kondor during this battle. Thanks for mentionned him.

All the victims of the pre-war and post-war purges were charged with much the same thing, ie that they were traitors who had allied themselves with the Imperialist enemy (before the war Poland, Germany and Japan, after the war Britain and the United States) and were conducting spying and sabotage. And in all cases Stalin's motivation was essentially the same; to prevent the emergence of any rivals to his personal power by constantly purging individuals and groups who had some measure of local power and replacing them with "new men", who would then be purged in their turn when they had developed their own power centres.
The fact that 11 of the 15 "conspirators" at the Slansky Trial were of Jewish origin simply reflects the overrepresentation of Jews in the Czech Communist Party. The same was true of the Communist Parties in Poland, Hungary and Romania.
The website at issue engages in distortion when it states that the Jewishness of those 11 was particularly stressed; in fact, the ethnic origin of all 15 defendants was stated, in conformity with the normal practice in multi-ethnic East European states; probably of more consequence for the instigators of the trial was the description of the class origin of the defendants (eg "from a family of businessmen", "son of a merchant and innkeeper", "son of a doctor of medicine"), designed to portray them as not of worker or peasant origin and hence untrustworthy.
The pre-war purges in the Soviet Union also claimed many Jewish victims, both at the highest level, eg the former Bolshevik leaders Kamenev and Zinoviev, and also at the middle and lower levels. But that simply reflects the over-representation of persons of Jewish origin at both the higher and middle levels of the Communist Party and also in the bureaucratic and managerial class that was targeted during the Great Terror of 1936-38.

First, there had always been rivalry between the Jewish Bolsheviks and the Jewish socialist Zionists over the best way to solve the "Jewish Problem"; the former saw the answer in the absorption of the corrupt class of petty Jewish traders into a multi-ethnic socialist society, the latter saw the answer in the withdrawal of that same corrupt class from the gentile environment and its "rebirth" through labour in a separate Jewish socialist state. That dispute between Zionist and non-Zionist Jewish socialists mirrored the conflict between Zionist and non-Zionist Jews generally. An airforce was assembled in Czechoslovakia, consisting of captured German aircraft, including Messerschmidt fighters, bombers and transports.I never would have even guessed about the Soviet aid which was instrumental in establishing Israel without posts like this.
Large numbers of young Jewish survivors and refugees were given military training, both in Czechoslovakia and in Lviv, in Soviet Ukraine. Interestingly, no account seems to have been taken of the political orientation of the persons being trained; thus it is that our knowledge of the military training on Soviet territory derives from the memoirs of Jewish rightists, whereas the leftist Mappai establishment has always tried to hide the Soviet support as far as possible.
After Medinat Yisrael declared its independence in May 1948, the airforce took off from Czechoslovakia, with Jewish pilots and carrying the trained men. It made a refuelling stop, and then continued to airfields in the new Jewish state. The bombers made a detour en route, flying over Cairo and bombing it before landing in Medinat Yisrael.
The arrival of the airforce and the trained men gave the Jewish side the decisive edge over the armies of the Arab states which had begun to enter Palestine to assist the hard-pressed Palestinian Arab forces, which had been effectively defeated during the interval between the UN partition resolution in November 1947 and the British departure in May 1948.
