I just found this picture, and wondered if it really exists?
With toys today, I would not be surprised! :?

No, it doesn't exist as a real toy. It's art of some sort and initially Lego was furious with what it considered abuse of it's brand. I think a compromise was reached whereby the artist had to put stickers on the boxes reading "This is a piece of art and not endorsed by Lego or in any way or form" or something to that effect.

I heard they were going to add a low voltage electrified fence, but the FTC told them it would be a hazard to young children. Har har!

Lego Camp

Well, having a Lego version of the Treblinka death chambers saves us the bother of asking what they were really like and how they supposedly worked. They literally could have been anything that we want them to be. Rather like a fairy tale cartoon, we can just "cut to the chase" and focus on the morality play.

Now, I wonder where I can get a Rudolf Höß action-figure...

A real life reconstruction would be more interesting. With Smith, Berg and other "Revisionist" big mouths as the guinea pigs. That would be fun.

It would be, with you in a striped uniform.

What I actually had in mind was Smith & friends crammed into the gas chamber, Ovidius operating the engine and me watching through the peephole. Any volunteers?

...sounds kind of voyeuristic.

Actually, I'm fairly certain that you would look better in stripes, with me carrying Wirth's whip. Of course, if Barry the dog likes you then perhaps you can cut hair to make U-boat carpets.

No voyeurism. Just intellectual curiosity.

<<Actually, I'm fairly certain that you would look better in stripes, with me carrying Wirth's whip.>>

Smith's day and night dream, no doubt. I can't blame him after all the whippings he has taken on this forum.

<<Of course, if Barry the dog likes you then perhaps you can cut hair to make U-boat carpets.>>

Barry was the mirror of Franz' mood. But when Franz was not around, he was an amenable fellow that didn't harm anybody. An interesting but not unusual phenomenon of animal psychology, as explained by the noted Prof. Konrad Lorenz at the first Treblinka trial.

Aaaaaas a resident of Legoland, alternatively known as Denmark, I can say I sincerely doubt this thing would ever have made it past the drawing board very late at night in the office of some pissed-off employee of the Lego corporation :)

it does exist-but obviously not as a consumer product. Its part of a very controversial art exibit in the 'jewish museum' in n(j)ew york city. The picture has been used by modern day National Socialists for some time, though.

if you live in the states, there was a debate on the art exhibit on MSNBC which the lego KZ was a part of-they show pictures of the actual lego-KZ built by some guy.
