Katyn -- Maps

Here are two maps which may help our readers to follow the main Katyn debate. The maps were exhibits in the US Congress investigation of the Katyn Forest massacre of 1951-52 (Final Report of Select Committee, 22 Dec 1952).

Draw a line from Liningrad to Moscow and on to the South and you get the invaded area. Ostashkov, Katyn, Kozelsk, Starobielsk are in.

Then look at the camp Griazoviec. And surprise - Polish officeres in this camp survived.

Irrelevant. According to the Soviet report, those Poles were concentrated in (imaginary) ON-camps near Smolensk in 1941, when war began, not in Kozel'sk, Starobel'sk and Ostashkov. How did their bodies get to Mednoje (where there were no Germans) and Pyatikhatki then?

Mednoje? Place were 'Russian investigators' found a dozen some skeletons ? This is what should be proved (in trial, sorry that I mention this word again) that it was place of 'massacre'.

They found not some"dozens of skeletons", but remains of at least 243 people (the exhumation was not full, of course). They also found bullets of 7.65 caliber and documents, establishing that those are the remains of the Poles from Ostashkovskij camp. No trial can change this fact.
