I haven't seen thread mention of Dr. Ben Wheatley's 2017 book, British Intelligence and Hitler’s Empire in the Soviet Union, 1941–1945.
I offers a good overview of Nazi policies with extensive reference to primary documents, plus the novel perspective of British intelligence's view.
Wheatley may be best known on this board for his work on Kursk and German panzer losses (finding lower losses than any previous estimates). It's good to see an author capable of objectively analyzing both Nazi/Wehrmacht crimes and military facts.
