For a comprehensive collection of (scanned) original documents relating to Aktion Reinhardt you may wish to visit http://motlc.wiesenthal.org/specialcol/instdoc/
This website also has biographical profiles and documents on SS personalities responsible for the Holocaust.

Thanks, jv, and welcome to the forum. For advanced readers who would like to see photocopies of some of the original German-language documents, the Wiesenthal special collections are well worth a visit.

Wow, lot to read there. OK so assuming "loot" got handed into the Reichsbank etc - we must also assume some light fingering going on here, three for you, one for me.

Slightly off subject but relevant to this. I have a game on my pc called Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I am an agent shooting my way through various scenarios. Part of the game is to find treasures looted by the NAZIs and that has been secreted away by less than honest officials in false passages, hideholes etc.

Thank you jv for the link, I do not think I could live long enough to peruse all that!!

Getting confused here, this maybe should have been in the other thread on this subject?

For interested readers -- The documents used as evidence in the WVHA (Pohl) case can be found in the US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) under the designation "Record Group 238." The evidence used in the WVHA case has been microfilmed and can be obtained from US-NARA with this reference: Oswald Pohl et al. (Case IV), Jan. 13, 1947 - Aug. 11, 1948. Microfilm Publication M890 (Pohl Case-SS). 38 rolls. (DP)

For references to captured German records generally, see http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=62798
