I'm still researching Robert L. Stricker, and the man who killed him, Blauensteiner, Franz. I'm particularly interested in the Austrian trial of Blauensteiner, about which there is info, but I've been unable to locate it.

I don't have anything useful to add other than I had been following this thread over the years and just realized that Lt. Robert L. Stricker grew up just a couple miles from my home in Newport, KY. I drive by his old house daily. I'll never pass that place again without remembering this thread and his story.
