Does anyone have information on the "Fire Brigades" that went around mass murdering civilians or the "enemys of the Third Riech"? Such as did they voluntere for it?How many had to get drunk to do it,what were the soldiers opinions,what was there strenth and equipment?

Are you referring to the Einstazgruppen?

Mobile units that was due to plug gaps in the front lines was generally termed "Fire brigades", AFAIK.

No I mean those troops that went around machineguning civilians,or "enemies of the Third Riech" such as Jews,Gypsies etc...I thought they were called Fire Brigades but I guess there not

Well the Einstazgruppen was tasked to clean up undesired elements, such as political opponents, jews, and gypsies, behind the frontlines.

Certain regular military formations such as the Dirlewanger and Kaminski units also participated in atrocities against civilians, most notably during the Warsaw uprising.

This is however not my main field of knowledge but I'm sure there are other forum members whom can provide you with more detailed info.
