He signed a memorendum of allegeance to Hitler so called "manifeste des 3 épis" on july 1940. Received immediatly german citizenship and became (as a jurist) the office of Landesgerichtsdirektor Strasbourg. His sentence date by the court for intelligence with ennemy was 29 august 1947. it seems that the trial of september 1947 was only for the 7 in absence former alsacian Kreisleiter der NSDAP.
