Remember Oradour Sur Glane

[Achtung Panzer!]

Anybody can tell me more about the extermination of the local population at Oradour Sur Glane in 1944....I thought the scene featuring Oradour Sur Glane in episode 1 of the WAW is one of the most powerful of all times...makes u tink about the futility of war..and all... ??Which unit commited the atrocities and who gave the directives for the directive??Were the people responsible ever punished for the atrocities committed?
