Some of these are mine and some are ones I got from ebay. They are all of Warsaw with most of them being the ghetto area. I am not posting executions and such photos. For myself these photos help me visualize the ghetto area, the misery, the people, an also the innocence and spirit shown in the faces of the people. Perhaps also a way of remembering a place that no longer remains.
I am slowly trying to name streets when I can.

The first foto is the cleaning of bomb damage. Probably 1939-1940 because the star is worn on the back rather than the arm.
Fotos of troops posing with the Jews is a repeated theme. Many of these were probably taken by troops moving through the area on the way to the Russian front.
The following two fotos were part of a set. These two look like they were taken by a member of Polizei unit.

The first photo with the soldier in the background. The man next to him reminds me of a tour guide. Smirking compared to the somber faces of the two in front.
The other foto shows a market area. I believe this is 1940/41 as the ghetto was sealed and rations cut after that. I believe that is part of the wall build to contain the ghetto behind them. The other is a square. This is out of the ghetto area but where I am not sure.

The next 3 are of the same. The one looks like a tramway stop. There was a tramway stop in the ghetto and some appear to wear armbands this is probably outsde the ghetto or before it was sealed.

Foto "Fotojudem in ghetto von Warschau"is the monument of the unknown soldier(1914:1918) before some destruction.
Foto"Bahnhof Warschau is the Opera , no the Bahnhof.
