Gentlemen,
do you have a photo and history of this ship called "Sperrbrecher 192". All I know was that she was part of Donauflottille that was retreating along the Lower Danube in 1944. She was a active ship that survived WWII.

Hi,
could this be the ship:
Sperrbrecher 92, also Sperrbrecher 192, ex mercantile Kepler, 800 tons, commissioned 1941, abandoned on Danube 5/1945.

Hello,

I have here from KTB der Donauflottille :
01.09.1944: Uta u. Bachelaren am 31.8. 22,30 Uhr 1 feindlichen Tiefflieger Typ "Vickers Wellington" bei km1080 abgeschossen, am Boden aufgeschlagen und explodiert. Stoßtrupp ausgesetzt. Es konnte nicht geborgen werden.
This incident was aktually in the night of 31.8./1.9.1944.
