The hull number on German destroyers also told the division and the tactical number of the boat, f.e. "62" is the second boat of the 6th destroyer division.

So without any information on when the photo was taken, it's impossible to tell which ship it is, then?

Hi, Rnox, thanks for the pictures.
No.2=TA31 (torpedoboot ausland)
No.3 and 5 = UJ boats, ex-Italian Gabbiano-class corvettes
No.4 = a TA boat, ex-Italian Ariete-class torpedo boat
last pic, could be TR106, ex-Italian minesweeper RD49

Hi bertamingo,

The last pic is not ex-RD49. !!!

But my "supposition" : FR24 (ex-Valmy)...

Hi Rnox, you are right in that it's not TR106, but it's not FR24 either. FR24 was a destroyer, while the boat in the pic is much smaller.

Upon closer inspection, the name on the bridge seems to read TR104, or TR101. In either case, it's one of the TR101-106 small minesweepers captured from Italy.

Regards :D
