Looking for the complete Kriegsmarine diaries

#1

Post by harry6116 » 02 Jun 2018, 03:11

hey all,
i was on the internet archive and found 39 fantastic files of Kriegsmarine diaries from the naval staff operations division as well as some u boat diaries from commanders.
I'm wondering if anyone has a digital copy of the complete Collections of Kriegsmarine documents?
I know they were published between 1948 1955.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I think Michael is looking for the ONI translations. A few sites like Archives.org have them online.
Here is July 1942, for example: https://archive.org/details/wardiarygermann351942germ
There are some months missing, however.

Thanks, yes, I should have clarified. I'm looking for the missing translations. I got all the ones off archive.org.

The translated version of the war diary (part A) of the Seekriegsleitung is nice and I only know these 39 volumes of it online.

Nevertheless I love the reprinted books of the original German version (76 volumes) in my collection much much more ...

Probably at the NWC, ONI, or NARA, just need to know where to go and look-see

More of the translated volumes here: http://kest.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/ ... 7C%7CTitle

that link is ugly. here is the short http://kest.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/ndulib/ and use War diary : German Naval Staff Operations Division
