Hello,

I would like to know for what purposes the 'Klappspier' on the bow of the Sperrbrecher was used.

Regards,

Cnock

Hello,

the GBT was introduced in 1942? the Klappspier was already on the bow of vessels in 1940, what where they then used for?

regards,

Cnock

The English term for the Klappspier would be an Acoustic Hammer and the English term for the Otter would be a Paravane.
