They were Marine Jagdkommandos used against partisans on the western part of the Ligurian Riviera. They operated in the area of San Remo and Imperia during the late part of 1944 under orders of Marine-Hafen-Kommandant San Ramo and 34. Infanterie-Division.

What' s about
Kapitänleutnant (M.A.) d.R.z.V. Dr. Waldemar Krumhaar (* 07.07.1895 Schleswig),
the brother of later SS-Brif. and GM der Polizei Bruno Krumhaar,
who was "Leiter des Marine-Einsatz-Kommandos (M.E.K.) 80 im Kommando der Kleinkampfverbände".
In 1947 he was accused in Milano for the massacre in Borgo Ticino.
Amnesty in 1951

I never heard of Marine Jagdkommandos before. How many of these Marine Jagdkommandos were raised during WWII in Europe? What kind of weapons that the units used?
