Re: Id. warship
Good evening, Sturm78!
This is one of Italian submarines from BETASOM unit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BETASOM), most probably, entering Bordeaux and greeted by the German guard of honour. IMHO, this is Luigi Torelli, but I am not sure and will try to do some additional search tomorrow.
Best regards, Aleks

Yes, most probably this is she. I've found the photo below at http://www.regiamarina.net/images/conte ... elli_2.jpgAVV wrote: IMHO, this is Luigi Torelli, but I am not sure and will try to do some additional search tomorrow.
It seems this is the same submarine (or at least the submarine of her class).

IMHO, this is one of WW1 M-boots (most probably, type 1916) that were left in Reichsmarine and later in Kriegsmarine.Sturm78 wrote:Can somebody help me with this warship?

Flottenbegleiter (escort ships) F class - judging by hull numbers they are F-3 (turned into tender Hai in 1938-40, sunk by British avaition on May 3, 1945) and F-4 (turned into torpedo tender ship in 1939-40, after WW2 transferred to Great Britain and scrapped in 1949).Sturm78 wrote:Image 2: ??

Well, I tend to think that this is one of Deutschland class ships too. One of the main factors (concerning this photo) is the position of the catapult and board plane.Sturm78 wrote:Are you agree with my identification of the image1?

Re: Id. warship
P.S. Most probably, this is Deutschland herself, as it seems to me that the plane and its catapult are situated in front of the funnel and not behind it, as on Spee and Scheer.

Re: Id. warship
Hello Sturm,
The second picture is clearly a Hipper-class cruiser.
Given the funnel cap and the searchlight, I would say the Blücher, sometime after october 1940.
But I'm not 100% sure it's not the Hipper.

Do you mean October 1939 as Blucher was sunk in April 1940?mescal wrote: .... I would say the Blücher, sometime after october 1940.
