And by extension, could anyone provide a list of the ships and/or their fates in the two invasion flotillas bound for Crete?

10 years ago a Panzermann was looked for wearing a Kreta cuff-title.
I'm not sure if this picture was posted before here.

Here is a picture of a Lieutenant of the German tank-troops with Ärmelband Kreta:

Thank you very much for this interesting photograph, Michi!

Hopefully, the Panzermann with the "Kreta" Cufftitle could be identified, just to verify or falsify that he was one of the original Panzer II crews on Crete back in 1941...
