Dear Peter,

I never have seen these pictures of German river monitors before. Now I have! I still don't know what river battles they were in during WWII.

Sincerely,

Edward L. Hsiao

Hi Bertamingo and all,

Could you possibly post pictures (or details) of the floating power plant ships? I am especially interested in Karl Junge and Watt, which were with Tirpitz in Kaa fjord.

Regards,
Rand

I should've placed my request for a picture of the DS Monte Rosa here. I'm looking for a picture of the ship in the period of 1941-1945, when it was recolored with a disruptive pattern. Any help?

Kind regards,
Rick

From the source Marinearchiv forum,I read that the H-27 was a German auxiliary ship used by the German naval small battle units to carry sturmboots. I barely was able to understand a little meaning of German. How many German merchant ships were converted to carry sturmboots or maybe Linse explosive speed boats?
