Did German Naval Intelligence know that the Rodney was to sail to the US for a refit?
I don't see how with all the preparation required on the American side this could not be common knowledge.
Similarly, did they have estimated schedules on the Malaya, Royal Sovereign and Resolution which were all refitting at the time?
And what were German estimates of BR battleship strength at Alexandria when the Bismarck sailed?
