In the Late W.R. Perl's "THe Four Front War" is a listing of 40 Jewish refugee vessels which fled Europe before/during World War II. One vessell listed was the "Mefkure" which was torpoded and raked by gunfire by an unkwown submarine 5 August 1944. This submarine was not German. The submarine that sank the "Mefkure" was USSR submarine SC-215, see May 2004 query "U 18 Uncredited claim?" on website "Uboat.net" Forum. By a coincidence the Jewish refugee vessel "Struma" was also sunk by USSR submarine SC-213

This is very strange discovery. M. Morozov listet MEFKURE among SCH-215;s victims in his book, published in 2003.
