hi,
in your link, there are some myths to be corrected.
A "normal" S 100-class boat didn't reach a speed of 43.5 knots, and something like 48 knots is just a wild dream - and a physical impossibility.
There were just two boats who attained a speed of 43 knots, S 170 and S 208, which were equipped with a more powerful motor, the MB 518.

I suppose the performance figures for S-boote went much like that with aircraft - depending on weight and conditions. Do you have more details as to what S-boot types achieved what - and at what weight with which engines?

hi, Fred,

yes, I have some information, but it's still too "piecemeal"-like to say something definite.
