what were Flugzeugträger C and D?

I wonder because some source say that they were suppose to be similar to the "Graf Zeppelin" class at first and then they were classified to 12000 ton and then 6000 ton:

C & D were to be of the GZ class or similar.

The 12,000 ton & 6,000 ton carriers were only design studies, with no plans for actual construction.
