In what ocean did the raider Skorpion cruised during WWII? Did she sank or captured any Allied merchant ships?

Hi Edward, from what I recall, the Skorpion was intended to serve as a small channel raider, but either didn't proceed with the plan or found no target in action before being converted to a barracks ship. What's certain is that she didn't sink or damage any Allied or neutral vessel.

PS: and here 'raider' refers to its function rather than an official classification. The ship was officially a vorpostenboot, or outpost boat/patrol boat, and then a barracks ship. It was never rated as an auxiliary cruiser like other German raiders were. Same for the other channel raider, the Natter.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your answer. So the channel raiders were not successful at all.
