Gentlemen,

Did Wolf Junge born in 1903 won any foreign decorations during his service career with the Kriegsmarine? I know Junge won the German Cross in Gold while as commanding officer of the battleship Tirpitz. It was said that Junge was unpopular with the men that served under him. Got a picture of Wolf Junge?

He was promoted Kapitan zur See on 01 April 1943, and was awarded the German Cross in Gold on 06 September 1944.

About which Wolf Junge are you talking about? The Wolf Junge that was the last Captn of Tirpitz before she was sunk?

If yes, the man on the photo is not the correct Wolf Junge.

Wolf Junge was my grand grand father and He looked different to what I see on the photo.
