You lucky man you! 8)

I got my book on the Sea Devil from the local bookstore owner who knows my fetish is collecting rare and good books!

Overall the raiders were of little value in scheme of things but they sure add to standings of what we call a Brave Naval Man.

Hello to all :D; more.......................................

Leichter Kreuzer Emden (light cruiser).

After the commissioning on October 15, 1925 and tests at sea, the ship returned to the shipyard for the conversion of the mast. During the fall maneuvers in 1926, the ship was the flagship of the Commander of the Naval Forces in the North Sea. In October 1926, she spent another period at the shipyard where some conversions were made. After their completion, the ship was placed under the supervision of the Inspector of Education as a school cruiser. As part of the instruction several trips were made.

First trip abroad under the command of Kapitän zur See Richard Foerster 14.11.1926 - 14.03.1928 Route: Wilhelmshaven - Atlantic Ocean - Cape Town - Cocos Islands - Japan - Alaska - Cape Horn - Rio de Janeiro - Azores Islands - Villagarcia - Wilhelmshaven.
