In 1953 my father purchased the bar, mirror and drink table from Hitler’s Yacht S.Y. Grille which was dismantled in Bordentown, New Jersey. In addition to those pieces, I have an original photograph of the vessel and the original receipt of the purchase. I was wondering if anyone has any photos of the yacht’s interior?

I've seen a few interior shots of the ship published in books. There was an article on the ship in the Philadelphia Inquirer on March 27 1997.

Hi pmcloud2,

If you Google "Reception room aboard the Grille" you will see a photo of a bar. Is this it?

As a virtual teatotaller, Hitler probably didn't use it.

However, he did like to practice the gestures in his speeches in a mirror.

Sid.
