Which u-boat commander scored all his kills after 1942/1943 when the boats became the hunted ones and thus still keeps the tonnage race with some aces of the happy times?

Hi again Philipp

After all I am not thus a great specialist...
By the form as the question it is made I admit two posibilitys.
Emmermann, Carl
05/11/1941-31/10/1943 Komdt. Commander of U 172 / 4.U-Flottille, Stettin u. 10.U-Flottille, Lorient (completed five war patrols 368 days, sank 26 ships 152.779 ton.)
or
Piening, Adolf Cornelius
23/08/1941-09/03/1944 "Komdt." Commander of "U 155 / 4.U-Flottille, Stettin u. 10.U-Flottille, Lorient" (completed seven war patrols 445 days, made one aborted patrol 6 days and made one transit sailing 1 day, sank 24 ships 126.664 ton., sank 1 escort carrier 13.785 dton. and damaged 1 military cargo ship 6.736 ton.)

Cheers, Fernando

Hello Fernando,

right is Werner Henke. Most succesfull skipper after 1943, when the boats became the hunted ones. Thus he keeps the race with some aces, who scored only in the happ time. His boat emblem was the battleaxe and he was shot like Lüth to death

It hardly seems credible a U-Boot seriously damaged by depth charges from a British aircraft happened during a war patrol was sunk by a torpedo fired for its commander (one honors and a disgust)
Which the U-Boot ?
Which the name of the commander ?

As since 15 of August still they nobody answered the reply here it is:

02/06/1942 U 652 Georg-Werner Fraatz
the boat was seriously damaged by depth charges attacks from Sunderland aircraft of 202 Sqn RAF and later by a Swordfish from 815 Sqn FAA in Mediterranean NE of Bardia.
U 81 (Guggenberger) rescued the crew and OL Georg-Werner Fraatz fired a torpedo from U 81 and sank U 652.
