hi,

another week later, hint #2
The first died in a melée in which 2 German e-boats were lost
the second had been flottilla commander for just 24 hours
the third was the first e-boat CO decorated with the Knight´s Cross.

hi,

OK, as there´s nobody even trying ... the solution
1) Korvettenkapitän Werner Lützow http://books.google.de/books?id=DxiyptZ ... ow&f=false
2) Kapitänleutnant Kurt Johannsen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_Johannsen
3) Korvettenkapitän Hermann Opdenhoff http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermann_Opdenhoff

The thread is open for the next question ...

quite probable as there are two S 30 type E-boats and those participated only in Group 4

Hello,
It seems a commander is on an old old battleship of the ex - Imperial Navy, the tropical uniform again says that the photo was taken in a foreign port, but who is that man, when we takes time bevor 1939? The "old iron "were i thea time after 1920 very active, because the Reichsmarine needed talent. But this time I'm missing so much and I do not sit in pre-war admirals again also. I rely on someone else.

Mischa
