It's a shame that the information about the Siberian campaign is limited. Does anyone have a timeline of events in Siberia from 1918-1922 during the Japanese intervention?

It looks like the Kwangtung army sent in 3rd and 7th Divisions to Siberia and the 12th Division came from Japan initially to make the landings at Vladivostok and Chita.

I take it 7th Division was soon replaced by the rest of that list of Divisions and returned to Manchuria?

The map also indicates an occupation of northern Manchuria as well?

7th Division was in charge of Kwantung Army's division at that time and it was replaced with 16th Division by the rotation system. After replaced, it returned to Japan in April 1919. Because they belonged to Kwantung Army, they are not listed in the OOB of Vladivostok Expeditionary Army.

The Tanaka Detachment was wiped out in February 1919 with a loss of 247 killed.

Total Japanese battle deaths in Siberia 1918-1922 are given as 1500.

Japanese forces also took over control of Northern Sakhalin in 1918,returning it to the Soviets in 1924.
